First generation · 1972 to 2001

Terry and Debbie Nix

Terry and Debbie Nix founded Nix Pest Management in Titusville in 1972. They built it from scratch, knocking on doors and staying active in the community.

As the business grew, they became well known in Titusville and kept its small-business values. They owned and ran it for 29 years before passing it on to their daughter, Kim, in 2001.

Second generation · 2001 to today

Bruce and Kim Gell

In 2001 Kim and her husband, Bruce, took over the family business. They kept the same core values: exceptional customer service and real relationships with their clients, along with professional pest management.

We have carried on that legacy for 25 years.

Third generation · Since 2013

Luke and Tanner Gell

In 2013 and 2014, Kim and Bruce's sons, Luke and Tanner, joined the company, each working as a technician in a different part of the business. It gave them great experience and a strong work ethic.

Both have become entrepreneurs in their own right: Luke owns Luke Gell Pools and Tanner owns Gell Brothers.
